1 Evaluate the meaning of animal systematics.
2 Learn and comprehend the general characteristics and systematics of the invertebrate groups from Porifera to Echinodermata, to have knowledge about the structures of these primitive groups of the animal kingdom and to understand the relations between them and the developed animal groups by understanding their kinship relations.
3 Understands vertebrate animals biologically and systematically. Describe the general characteristics of vertebrates and compare the classes of vertebrates by evaluating the differences of vertebrates compared to other animal groups.
