English course aims to provide students with the basic language skills required at the beginner level.



1 Students can communicate at a basic level by asking and answering simple questions.
2 Students can read and understand beginner-level English texts.
3 Students can write short texts about daily activities and e-mail giving information about themselves and/or their immediate surroundings.
4 Students can fill out forms with their personal information.
5 Students can follow basic expressions and dialogues about themselves, their families and people around themselves at A2* level in accordance with the European Union Language Criteria.

English courses are compulsory ones that are given in the second year in Turkish-medium programs and provide integrated basic language skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking at the beginner level.
